Who we are
Justin Stanley is a Real Estate Assessment Supervisor at City of Richmond, Virginia, where he oversees the valuation of multifamily and other income-producing properties. He is a Certified General Appraiser for the Commonwealth of Virginia and holds the Certified Assessment Evaluator (CAE) and Residential Evaluation Specialist (RES) designations from the International Association of Assessing Officers (IAAO). He has more than 15 years of experience in real estate appraisal, analysis, and leadership. He has successfully passed the Instructor Evaluator Workshop (IEW) to become an IAAO Instructor.
Mr. Stanley is passionate about applying innovative methods from data sources to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of property assessment. He has designed Multiple Regression Analysis (MRA) models for multifamily, as well as land and commercial property models for various property classes. He has also shared his expertise and insights with other jurisdictions and professionals through educational mentoring, training, lectures and presentations. Mr. Stanley’s goal is to contribute to the advancement of the real estate appraisal profession. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Old Dominion University and is currently the Professional Designation Program (PDP) Chair for the Virginia Association of Assessing Officers (VAAO).
